Les beignets de Divonne (Divonne doughnuts)

Sébastien Brocard, a french dessert champion, opened a confectionary and chocolate shop in Divonne in 2006. Upon his arrival, he started making a long-forgotten divonne speciality : beignets de Divonne. He updated the recipe and one can find these small tasty golden and creamy cubes à la Sébastien Brocard at the pâtisserie-chocolaterie Brocard, 31 rue des Bains.
The champion also created his own speciality : a delicious small finger biscuit with a subtle flavour, the Petit Divin.

The Chef at the restaurant La Terrasse in the Domaine de Divonne, Daniel Gobet, does all he can to satisfy his clients. His path is that of an energetic and willing man.
His cuisine is a savvy combination of local flavours (lake Léman whitefish, crayfish) and flavours from elsewhere (creamy risottos). A real treat for our tastebuds!

Cuisine School, Coulisses gourmandes

After working for 15 years in prestigious restaurants, Dominique Roué felt the need to share his knowledge. He founded a cuisine and oenology school, the Coulisses gourmandes, 76 grande rue, in Divonne, along with a shop which sells top of the range kitchen equipment.
There are classes for individuals, businesses and even children.  
Monthly sweet and savoury afternoon teas are co-organised with the Tourist office.
 
Dominique Roué renews culinary art in a youthful manner for modern people.
